superb location, lovely ground-level decor, excellent view over Central Square
Very small windows in rooms detract from overall ambiance!!! Old building showing its age, desperately needing renovation!!! Air-conditioning unit too loud for comfort!!!

missingWrote a review on Jul 05food optionspublic transportnoisy environment
The immediate area offers plenty of dining options within a short walking distance, making it easy to grab a bite after a long day. Additionally, the location boasts quick access to public transport, with a tram stop conveniently located just across the road, enhancing mobility throughout the city.
Rooms show signs of wear and tear, particularly with outdated bathrooms that feel cramped and less inviting. The noise level from slamming doors at night disrupted our sleep, while the lack of basic amenities in the room left us wanting. The alarm clock was set by the previous guests, causing unwanted wake-up calls, and navigating the hotel with a pram became cumbersome due to congregating guests blocking entryways.

The King Room was pretty nice but could use a little refresh. Comfy beds, nice space. The only bummer was a small TV and some noise from the AC. Location was killer with great access to local spots!

This stay was made brighter by the fabulous breakfast spread at Coal Cellar + Grill! The eggs benedict were absolute perfection. Plus, I really appreciated the friendly staff who went out of their way to make my trip enjoyable.
On the downside, the rooms felt outdated and the bathroom setup was frustratingly cramped. I also found myself wrestling with noisy neighbors and had some issues with room service not hitting the mark.
